Evergreen Communities builds and
develops homes and neighborhoods. Based in Tallahassee,
Florida, our primary focus is the sustainable development
of high quality residential and mixed-use projects
in established locations, as well as the redevelopment
and adaptive re-use of existing structures. Evergreen
Communities' residential construction experience includes
single-family homes, townhomes, luxury condominiums
and rental apartments. Our in-house design capability
allows us to create homes that offer attractive and
functional plans at affordable prices.
We are dedicated to delivering
design excellence, construction quality and uncompromising
customer service with each home we build. Our construction
staff averages more than 20 years of field experience.
Each home we sell is backed by two separate levels
of warranties: a one-year limited warranty from Evergreen
Communities, and manufacturer warranties on all appliances
and major mechanical systems. Our Customer Care Program
allows homeowners to quickly obtain answers to questions
about their new home or warranty service.

Gary Zins has been in the real
estate development and construction industries since
1984, and is a certified general contractor in the
state of Florida. Prior to founding Evergreen Communities
in 1997, Gary served as Managing Director for Development
with a major builder headquartered in New York City.
Gary received a Bachelor's degree from the College
of Business at New York University and a Master's degree
from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning
and Preservation at Columbia University. He has also
completed postgraduate studies in Construction Management
at the New York University School of Continuing Education.
Julie Zins is the co-founder and
Executive Vice President of Evergreen Communities.
Her primary responsibilities include design, marketing,
sales and land acquisition. She is a licensed real
estate broker in the state of Florida. Julie received
a Bachelor's degree from the College of Business at Florida
State University.
